The process is easy.

  • Initial Consultation

    Photoshoot planning session either over the phone or email. Here we will give you tips for the photoshoot and go over any questions you may have. We will also book in a date and choose the location.

  • The Photoshoot

    Ready to have some fun in front of the camera! Photoshoots are usually completed within an hour. This gives enough time to get comfortable and create some epic photos. Extra time is available if required.

    Step 2

  • Choose Your Images

    All of your edited images will be uploaded to a private online gallery within 7 business days of your shoot. Here you can select your favourite digital images to purchase.

Pricing

Shooting Fee $450

Includes initial consultation, travel within Auckland, up to 1.5hr professional photography, a private online gallery to view and purchase your images.

Digital Images $65 each

Professionally edited digital images are available to purchase from your private online gallery after the shoot.

FAQs

What if the weather is bad?

The shoot can go ahead in most weather if you are flexible with location. If it is windy or raining then we will move to a sheltered outdoor location like the forest. If it is really bad then we will either move indoors or postpone the shoot and re-book a new date.

How do we choose a location?

My suggestion is to choose a location that you enjoy spending time at and are naturally comfortable in. If you are a beach person let’s go to the beach, my favourite beaches to shoot at are Bethells Beach and Long Bay. If you hate the beach lets go to the park, the forest or your home. There are many options and we will discuss which are best suited during the initial consultation.

What is the best time of day to take photos?

The ultimate time for epic lighting is dawn and dusk. However any time of day is totally fine and I am experienced at using all lighting conditions to our advantage to help you look your best.

What do I wear?

I am here to help with that. Firstly it is important that you feel comfortable so don’t steer away too much from what you normally wear. Nice casual is a good start. Avoid clashing colours with anyone else in the shoot. For example if one person is wearing bright yellow and everyone else is in subtle pastel colours it will not look very good. Also please avoid clothing with large logos and branding.

Do you offer framed prints as well as digital images?

Yes, I work closely with a NZ company called Queensberry. They produce quality handmade wall art including framed prints and canvases which are designed to last generations. There are many options here and I am happy to go through them with you during your consultation.

Can we have longer than 1.5hr for the photoshoot?

No problem at all, additional photography time is $250 per hour. A longer photoshoot is great if you have a large family, extended family, babies, pets, outfit changes or keen to visit multiple locations.

Do you travel out of Auckland?

Yes absolutely, I love travelling for work. Travel by car is $65 per hour which covers the travel time, car expenses and gas.

It all sounds great, how do I make a booking?

A $450 non-refundable booking fee is required to book your shoot. If the shoot needs to be postponed for any reason the booking fee can be transferred one time to an alternative date. The new date must be within 6 months of the initial shoot date.
